I realized it has been awhile since I last updated my blog. Life on the seas is pretty much the same since I last updated the blog. We've been playing around with different time slots for our improv show. The show itself is a huge success the problem is finding a good time for the show. “Hairspray” is going well. Our director, Harrison, was on board last cruise to do some touching up and get the newbies and understudys ready to go. The week went well and it was so nice to see our director. He's such an awesome person and great to work with. I've been trying to be more healthy these days. Thankfully I've lost about 6pounds since starting this contract. I'm just trying to tone-up now. I've been hitting the gym doing about 45minutes of cardio and about 20minutes of weights. Taking advantage of the free gym while I can. I try to not eat any desserts and really stick to rice rather than potatoes for dinner and grilled chicken rather than steak. Not gonna lie, I cheat because I get tired of eating the same things but still trying to maintain a healthier lifestyle. One thing that has been brought to the forefront of my mind is how important my family is. I know friends come and go, I will always be in and out acting jobs, but my family will always support me no matter what. Ever since I graduated high school, I moved at the first chance I got to New York City, away from Lubbock (the small town I grew up in north Texas, in the panhandle). I have no desire to ever live in Lubbock again and I always tell my mom I would visit more if they lived in a better city. I've never visited for any long length of time. It's always been for about 5days maybe twice a year. Since I've been living the ship life, I find myself so excited to spend time at home this summer for longer than a week.
